Alix will perform the role of Mrs. Partlet in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Sorcerer. Presented by Victorian Lyric Opera Company.
The Sorcerer will be presented in conjunction with The 7th Great Gilbert and Sullivan Sing Out. Those participating in the Sing Out do not need to purchase a ticket to this performance. Entry is included with your registration fee.
Presented in semi-staged concert format with full orchestra.

Presented in completion of the MM degree in historical performance, voice, this recital features music from the medieval through the modern eras that explores the myriad ways in which a person can be broken by love. From an 11th century troubadour singing concern for a friend in danger to a Vivaldi rage aria after the death of a beloved mentor, we delve far beyond unrequited romantic love (although there will also be plenty of that!).
Featured composers include Giraut de Bornelh, Guillaume de Machaut, John Dowland, Eleonora Orsini, Barabra Strozzi, Antonio Vivaldi, and Gustav Mahler. Collaborators include harpsichordist Cameron Kuzepski and pianist Haeun Yim.

Join members of Peabody Institute’s vocal ensembles in a performance of small ensemble repertoire from across centuries! Under the leadership of Director of Choral Studies Beth Willer, NEXT Ensemble, Peabody Camerata, and the Peabody Hopkins Conservatory Choir are committed to the expansion and evolution of the vocal ensemble art through the commissioning of new works, collaboration with living creators, and the incorporation of new media into performances. Experience the next generation of choral singers in this memorable program!
Alix's ensemble, Metal on Pavement, will perform works by Nathaniel Parks, Salamone Rossi, Hubert Parry, and Pentatonix.
This concert is open to the public and free, with a suggested donation of $10. Tickets are required and may be purchased at the door starting 30 minutes before the program, or online.
